In General
The Bowen Technique can benefit all conditions that will improve by aiding the body's self-healing processes. However, experience shows that the Bowen Technique is especially effective for the relief of musculo-skeletal disorders. These include frozen shoulder, sciatica, sport injuries, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, and repetitive stress injuries, even growing pains.
As regards the body's biological processes, many conditions respond particularly well to treatment using the Bowen Technique. Included are a wide range of digestive disturbances like colic and reflux, and respiratory and hormonal disorders.
Emotional stress, pregnancy related issues and childhood problems like bedwetting are also addressed effectively.
Complex psychosomatic and purely physical problems that can affect one or more of the body's systems, are clearly best addressed using a restorative process that views the body as a whole and stimulates its own innate and complete knowledge of self-healing. It is therefore easy to see why the Bowen Technique is such a powerful and effective treatment for chronic conditions.
