Courses in The Original Bowen Technique are presented in both Cape Town and Johannesburg under the auspices of the Bowtech Academy of Australia.
The course consists of 7 modules. Each module extends over 2 days but the entire course takes 9 month to complete with time in between modules being used for case studies and practical training. Module 7 is conducted by a senior instructor from overseas who makes the final assessment and accreditation.

There is also an introductory course for those who plan to use Bowen within their family unit. This course only consists of Module 1 and 2 and has no prerequisites or accreditation.

Course
This course which is presented internationally is based on the original work developed by Mr. Tom Bowen and subsequent documentation by Ossie and Elaine Rentsch who have made it their life's work to introduce the Technique to the world. Consequently this course offers a qualification that enjoys internationally accreditation.
The Bowen Association of South Africa is affiliated to Bowteck in Australia. However, practitioners trained by the European College of Bowen Studies are accepted as members of the Bowen Association of South Africa.
